Badlands Saloon On Bar Rescue

In 2019, experienced bar owner Jim Osterberger, his partner Michael and their best friend Dan Dainton decided to buy the Badlands Saloon – one of the oldest gay bars in Las Vegas.

Badlands Saloon On Bar Rescue

Initially, Jim and Michael intended to be just investors, leaving retired teacher Dan to run day-to-day operations. The trio reportedly raked in huge profits for the first eight months, until the COVID-19 pandemic hit and forced them to close the doors for six months. As a result, the Badlands Saloon suffered losses to the tune of five to ten thousand dollars a month, putting the bar’s future in jeopardy.

Eventually, Badlands was able to reopen, but with reduced capacity and unable to offer the vital entertainment it was known for. Enter Jon Taffer and Bar Rescue.
